Founder of the End Time Message Church, Robert Gumbura has died.
Gumbura died in Chikurubi prison from Covid-19 related illnesses.
Gumbura was jailed for 40 years after being convicted of rape and illegal possession of pornographic material in 2014.
A close family source confirmed to Tateguru TV.
Zimbabwe Prison and Correctional Services Spokesperson Superintendent Mayor Kanyenzi said Gumbura passed on in the afternoon today.
“As ZPCS we would like to inform the nation that one of our long serving inmate Martin Robert Gumbura has passed on this afternoon at Chikurubi Maximum hospital.
He succumbed to Covid 19 complications. The next of kin has been advised. Our deepest condolences to the bereved family,” Kanyenzi said.
Gumbura leaves behind 11 wives and 30 children.
