The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) has given motorists a deadline to sort out their vehicle registration or else they will not be able to access national highways.
In a statement, ZINARA said from October 1 vehicles without valid license discs will not be able to pass through tollgates.
Motorists with valid insurance receipts will be able to pay for their vehicle license discs at the Tollgates.
They will only able to collect them at the nearest licensing office.
In a public notice, ZINARA said;
“The Zimbabwe National Road Administration would like to advise the motoring public that all vehicles without valid license discs will not pass through Tollgayess with effect from 1 October 202
“This is in line with the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Act ( Chapter 13:14) subsection 6 and 2 which states that all vehicles which are de-registerd vehicles with licensing exemptions and vehicles without number plates are not allowed to move around Zimbabwean roads.”
ZINARA urged the motoring public to make sure that vehicles are fully licensed before they embark ona any travel to avoid inconveniences.
