Zimbabwean singer Tina Masawi sings at Real Madrid star’s wedding

Zimbabwean singer Tina Masawi, based in Spain got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal’s wedding on Friday 24 June 2022.
The wedding took place in Spain in a small city of Segovia.
For any person who loves football, seeing the Real Madrid squad on television is normal but singing for them on their wedding is a dream come true.
Real Madrid team is a 14-time Champions League winner.
They have won Europe’s premier club competition four times in the last six years.
Masawi sang at Los Blancos defender Dani Carvajal’s wedding on Friday.
The Spain international married his partner of many years Daphne Cañizares, in the Spanish city of Segovia.
Tina, who is based in Barcelona and sings R’n’B, blues, pop, afro beats and house music said this was a life changing opportunity for her.
Tina revealed to the press that their wedding planner reached out to her on their behalf, they found her online
The singer was asked to perform at an FC Barcelona footballer’s wedding a couple of years back and couldn’t go due to another commitment and was hoping another opportunity like that would come around.
The ceremony was attended by Carvajal’s Real teammates, including Marco Asensio, Thibaut Courtois, Federico Valverde, Nacho, Lucas Vasquez, and Jesus Vallejo.
Tina, who sang a classic English song for the newly-weds, admits nerves got the better of her at first, but she eventually pulled herself together.
The singer expressed her excitement on her Twitter page.
“Left town to sing one song at Dani Carvajal of Real Madrid’s wedding last night. Price just went up again babes.
Such a sweet couple! Thank you Dani and Daphne for trusting me with such an intimate moment in your stunning wedding, it was a fairytale,” she said.
