Zim to receive two million vaccine doses

Zimbabwe will on Thursday receive an additional two million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine from China.

The new delivery will allow the country to ramp up its vaccine drive, as the demand has significantly risen.

The Ministry of Health and Child Care announced on their Twitter, informing the country that there are more shots that are already in transit.

“Kindly be advised that the two million Covid-19 vaccine doses arrives on Thursday July 8, 2021,Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport
ADD-HRE ET863/JUL08 ETD: 0925 ETA: 1435.”

Zimbabwe`s vaccine rollout has been an envy of many in the region and beyond.

It appears the country`s pursuit of the coveted herd immunity is continuing unabated.
