ZETDC warns of power interruption for Harare

Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) issued a notice yesterday advising on a power supply interruption in Harare for scheduled critical maintenance work.
“The ZETDC is advising it’s valued customers in Harare Region that there will be a power supply interruption on the 15th of May 2022 from 0600 to 2200 hours, for purposes of carrying out critical maintenance works,” said a statement by ZETDC.
Areas to be affected are as follows;
Mbare, Southerton Industries along Birmingham Road, Highfield Road, Barrow Road, Cripps Road, Plymouth Road, Hermes Road, Melbourne Road, Workington Industries along Douglas Road, Lytton Road, Coventry Road, Rekai Tangwena, Canberra Road, Nuffield Road, Motherwell Road, Charing Cross, Stirling Road, Bristol Road and the surrounding areas.
Meanwhile as the maintenance works will be in progress, customers are being advised to treat all circuits as live as power may be restored without notice.
ZETDC sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused.
