Zesa warns of power interruptions

The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has warned of electricity Supply interruptions to some suburbs in Harare due to impending critical maintenance works.

The company’s subsidiary for the transmission of power (ZETDC) issued a statement revealing the affected areas.
“During this period, electricity will not be available in the following areas:
“Tuesday june 1 2021 from 0600hrs to 1800hrs areas to be affected are Dzivarasekwa 1-4, Kuwadzana Phase3,Tynwald south,Dzivarasekwa Barracks,Coldcomfort,Crowbrough Phase 2, Dawnview,Tynwald industrial are and Tynwald Plots.

“On Wednesday June 2 2021 from 0600hrs to 1800hrs areas to be affected are Kabrit Barracks,ZESA Pension fund complex seke road,Signature leisure centre, Batler Farm, Manyame airbase,Dangwets Farm, Kutsaga research centre, Davis Granite and Mbizi Game Park,” the statement read.

ZETDC went on to urge its customers to treat all circuits as live during this period as power maybe restored without notice.
