The ruling party ZANU PF has saluted players in government for their work which has seen the materialization of promises made in its 2018 election manifesto.

At a press conference, ZANU PF spokesperson Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo said better days are on the way for the people of Zimbabwe.

“Our mighty and majestic strides in delivering our promise to the people as provided for in our 2018 people’s manifesto should be embraced as they attest to our decency honesty hard work diligence and indeed our reliability and trustworthiness as a tried and tested party,” he said
Ambassador SK Moyo said when the policies formulated bear fruit, the country will silence many naysayers.

“We agreed with the people, through the manifesto that we are going to repair, rehabilitate, re-tar and dualise roads, and roads are being done.
We said we will develop a new Public Transport System, indeed we revived ZUPCO and the results are there for all to see.
We said we are going to deal with corruption ruthlessly and the fight goes on,” he said.

Despite Covid-19, the Zimbabwean economy has been recording gains, a sign which the ruling party intends to build upon.

“We promised to prioritize health care of our citizens and indeed, notwithstanding the added health disaster of COVID-19, we have managed to do the best in the region to save lives of our people.
We are leading in terms of administering vaccines in the region and that is a feat we are proud of,” Ambassador SK Moyo said.

Ambassador SK Moyo said the economy and currency are now stable, what is left is to make the Zimbabwean economy an economy of the future.
These efforts attest to the seriousness with which our government under the leadership of President Mnangagwa has been,” said Ambassador SK Moyo.

ZANU PF urged its senior party members to lead voter mobilization, as the party targets five million voters in the next poll.
