The ruling party has begun orientation of its newly appointed district structures in a bid to increase mobilisation efficiency in time for the upcoming 2023 Harmonised Elections.

ZANU PF, which is renowned for its well organised structures is escalating its groundwork for a resounding victory in 2023.

ZANUPF Harare Province Women’s League Deputy Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde Melody Muzenda told Tateguru Tv that the programme has already begun with critical  structures in all three wings receiving training on how to best pursue the Ruling Party’s agenda of achieving Unity Development and Indigenization.

“ZANUPF has already started its workshops which kicked off last week with the Security positions in all wings.

The purpose of the leadership workshops is to equip our party positioned members to know and understand their role in every wing in order to deliver the best to our party ZANUPF,” said Cde Muzenda.

Cde Muzenda said the training was premised around understanding the existing Party Constitution.

“The Constitution is a tool for unity and alligience to the party and remains our compass. As human beings we differ but we respect one another as comrades. Leadership is about the party structures and its hierarchy and it calls for all sitting District Executives to conduct themselves diligently and responsibly.

This in turn is going to help our people to lead, work and deliver the best to our upcoming harmonised election in 2023,” added Cde Muzenda.

Cde Muzenda pointed out that these workshops are reason enough for the public to appreciate how organised and civil ZANUPF is as compared to the current opposition parties.

“Opposition does not have structures they just work with no protocol, I guess just because no one has the mandate to know certain information.

Within the Green Book (Constitution) members of ZANUPF have rights enshrined that allow them access to sitting executive members and information. Members are also allowed to partake and contribute to the their party.

Where as in the opposition they have no code of conduct eligible to their party its just one man band which is one leader,” said Cde Muzenda.

Cde Muzenda also said ZANUPF through its structures and protocol should be able to come up with strategies to attract the marjority of the population.

The workshops will be running until June 2022.
