ZANU PF Congress kicks off

The ruling party`s elective congress today roared to life at the Harare International Conference Centre.
In this history of political events held in the country, there has never been a level of anticipation as that shown over the past few days by stakeholders.
The elective congress, is set to see all provinces throwing weight behind President Mnangagwa.
As is custom, today there was a Politburo meeting, where matters of national importance are discussed in detail.
Tomorrow there will be a Central Committee meeting happening in Harare as well.
The Congress is oversubscribed, accreditation officers had to extend their days of operation to ensure that they cater for everyone who wanted to participate.
Most of the people showing interest are affiliated to companies and corporates, showing that ZANU PF is currently a brand which enjoys cordial relations with commerce.
