ZACC names Makamure replacement

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption (ZACC) has appointed its Compliance and Systems Commissioner Thandiwe Mlobane as its spokesperson.
This follows the setting up of a tribunal to look into whether or not former spokesperson Commissioner John Makamure is fit for office.
In a statement, the anti-graft body said;
“The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission hereby announces the appointment of Commissioner Thandiwe Mlobabe as the spokesperson with immediate effect.”
The tribunal set up to look into Makamure`s conduct has begun work, looking into whether or not the former spokesperson is a candidate for removal from office.
The tribunal which was set up in terms of section 237(2)(c) and section 187(3) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe is Chaired by Retired Justice Maphios Cheda, while Justice Ministry Permanent Secretary, Virginia Mabhiza, serves as is its Secretary.
