The Zimbabwe men’s football team, The Warriors believe they can mount a strong fight in Ghana’s backyard.

Zimbabwe and Ghana are playing in a World Cup qualifier tomorrow.

Zimbabwe has been boosted by the arrival of last batch of two defenders America based Teenage Hadebe and Brendon Galloway who had not arrived in Ghana in time, after they had both missed flights from their respective bases.

Team Manager Wellington Mpandare said the morale in the camp is high as the team started training together in Ghana.

“We have been treated well and trained well the team trained at the Glow-Lamp soccer Academy, Cape Coast, Ghana,” said Mupandare.

Meanwhile, Four England based Stars might travel to Harare for the return leg for the world cup qualifies against Ghana as UK Government on Tuesday remove Zimbabwe from the COVID-19 black listed country.

The new regulations will see the four, Tendai Darikwa, Jordan Zemura, Brandon Galloway and Marvelous Nakamba making it to Harare for the return match.

Zimbabwe is at the bottom of Group G with one point.

South Africa leads with four points followed by Ghana and Ethiopia who have three points apiece.

The team which tops the group will proceed to the next round of qualifier matches.
