Blessing Manhanga of Muroiwa village was shot and wounded by a Eureka Mine gaurd on allegations of trespassing.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. However the victim is said to have been looking for his stray cattle when he was shot.
The injured was taken to Mvurwi hospital but reports are that he was transferred to a health facility in Harare for further management.
The shooting comes in less than a month after another person was shot and killed at the mine on 24 October.
