Hundreds of home owners in Harare are set to receive title deeds for their residential stands next month.

This follows an intervention by President Mnangagwa, who promised to dignify the lives of those who were duped by land barons.
Today, the ruling party, which is the source of Government`s policy thrust reassured prospective home owners that the promise will be delivered upon.

Addressing media today in Harare, ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa said there should be progress soon.
Ambassador Mutsvangwa said the forthcoming Epworth rally will see thousands of home owners receiving title deeds, kicking off the process.
Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa emphasised that the focus on urban areas shows the party is ready to transform lives.

“A rally pencilled for Epworth, Harare will be headlined by the President. This is a signal that the revolutionary party is coming back to its roots, the urban areas that for more than 20 years have been neglected by the opposition political party.
The signature of the Epworth rally is the granting of title deeds to urban dwellers, to show that the party cares about its people,” said Ambassador Mutsvangwa.

The project which is going to extend to the whole of Zimbabwe, will rectify challenges in problem areas like Harare South.
It is believed that 90 percent of houses in newly built high-density areas have no title deeds.

Ambassador Mutsvangwa said the ruling party is happy with the gesture by government to improve the welfare of teachers from how it was.

“We are happy that government is taking the welfare of teacher’s seriously through giving them monetary and non-monetary incentives. The core of good education is the welfare of teachers,” he said.
