Sworn in CCC councilors plot Mutiny against Government

Tateguru TV is reliably informed that recently sworn in CCC councillors have sworn to fight central government from all angles retaining the 20-year-old dysfunctionality of Harare City Council.

Inside sources told the paper that on April 6, 2022 at around 7pm members of CCC who won council by-elections for Harare City wards convened at Sherwood Golf Course for a meeting.

The 23 elected members were all present at this aforesaid meeting.

After members conveyed conglatulatory messages to each other they then deliberated on a roadmap which they are going to follow as soon as they are officially sworn in.

On their roadmap the 23 CCC councillors resolved to show hostility to central govt especially the Minister of Local Government and Public Works and National Housing Hon. July Moyo.

The plan was to defy any directive by the Ministry which is not fovorable to their agenda of dragging the City into the dark ages of over flowing sewers and lack of safe drinkable water supply.

They also resolved to make council administration ungovernable, toppling the Acting Mayor, Acting Town Clerk, and Acting Chamber Secretary.

According to their grand scheme, the adminstration and executive is to be replaced by a compliant team set by CCC council.

They went on to chart a proposal to withdraw from Urban Councils Association of Zimbabwe UCAZ as it only has room for the Mayor.

CCC candidates also agreed to stop the City Council executive from attending meetings called by Pemanent Secretary Tafadzwa Muguti and Minister of State Eng. Oliver Chidawu

They also plotted on bringing back Cainos Chingombe as acting town clerk and then replace mayor Stewart Mtizwa with Enock Mupamawonde who will be deputised by Kudzai Kadzombe.

According to their plot they also want to reverse the Chambuta Children Camp resolution and charge anyone who attended there with abuse of council resources.

Last but not least they were adamant on the fact that they would not cooperate with Hon Minister Moyo accusing him of recalling them.

They also accused the Local Government Minister of racking in millions from the contracts in the Geo Genix and Agrico  Projects.
