Rwodzi appointed Deputy Minister

President Mnangagwa has appointed Honourable Barbra Rwodzi, Member of Parliament for Chirumhanzu as Deputy Minister for Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

The appointment was announced by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda yesterday.

The new Deputy Minister is a holder of a Master in Business Administration and an Honours Degree in Business Studies.

She is also a successful businessperson who owns a number of companies with interests in energy solutions, financial services, clothing and community development.

Deputy Minister Rwodzi will be remembered for her stance at the Pan-African Parliamentary elections in South Africa where together with Cde Pupurai Togarepi and EFF leader Julius Malema, they resisted the attempt to influence the election of the Presidency of PAP by the Western Africa bloc in violation to the regulations.

 

Honourable Rwodzi will deputize Minister Mangaliso Ndlovu.
