Zimbabwe cricket star, Sikandar Raza has been awarded as the International Cricket Council Men’s player of the month for August.
Raza becomes the first Zimbabwean male cricketer to win the award, beating fellow nominees and leading all-rounders Mitchell Santner of New Zealand and Ben Stokes of England.
This has come after some impressive and outstanding performances during the last month season.
The Chevrons played a series of games against India and Bangladesh.
The awarded Raza achieved two unbeaten centuries (135 not out and 117 not out) during the game in which we saw Chevron’s victory over Bangladesh.
Thus securing victory for his side.
Moreover, Raza scored another century against India later in the month, although in defeat, continuing his sensational form shown throughout 2022.
