Local hip hop artist R Peels is aiming to break the national record for the music album with most songs.
The Eke singer has just announced through his Twitter that he intends to drop a 45-song project.
This has drawn mixed reviews online with critics asking if the music will have listeners.
Lady K, a Dj with Zifm asked R Peels if there is any wisdom with releasing 45 songs at one go, to which R Peels responded with salvo.
Ordinarily, rap projects have an average of 10 songs.
If he releases project, R Peels would have eclipsed Tocky Vibes who recently released a 36 track album titled Chicken and Chama.
R Peels is one of the longstanding players in the game.
To date he has released eight albums and has a target to release more music than Oliver Mtukudzi, according to his own words.
Multisong albums are not new to the music industry, American RnB musician Chris Brown recently released a 24 track album titled Breezy.
