PSL takes Action on Bourbourfields Violence

The Premier Soccer League has taken action against Dynamos and Highlanders over the recent display of hooliganism that took place at Barbourfields Stadium during their match.
Referee Allan Basvi called off the match in the 37th minite due to pitch invasion by Highlanders supporters.
The Premier Soccer League have since condemned the incident and called for those involved to be punished.
In a statement The Premier Soccer League has spoken out against violence and hooliganism in football and has Summoned the big two teams Dynamos FC, Highlanders and Highlanders player Peter Mudhuwa to appear before its disciplinary Committee.
“Highlanders FC have been charged for causing the abandonment of the match, missile throwing, pitch invasion, acts of violence and malicious damage to property.
Highlanders player, Peter Mudhuwa is being accused of inciting violence and improper behaviour which brings the league into disrepute.
Dynamos FC have also been charged for pitch invasion, missile throwing and acts of violence.”

The disciplinary proceedings shall take place on Tuesday 26 September 2023 at the PSL offices.
