Meanwhile, another former warriors Midfielder Willard Katsande has refuted claims by some media sections that he wants another dance with the warriors after retiring from international football in 2017.

Katsande said he appreciated what the warriors have done for him during his illustrious career and that he will be a coward to come out of retirement now because the team has qualified for AFCON Finals to be hosted by Cameroon in early 2022.

“The guy (Journalist) asked me like ‘what do you think of National team’ then I said I’m done with National teams and I always like Zimbabwe football a lot but to say I will come back and play I don’t think so. Other than that they just pinned me to accept to come back. Now they are putting it in their way like I’m desperate to come and play for the National team. I will be a coward because the team qualified now I want to be part and parcel of the team. Let the guys who qualified with the team go and enjoy their fruits.” Said Katsande

Kaizer chiefs Midfielder confirmed that he has retired from international football following the Warriors’ African Cup of Nations exit in Gabon 2017
Katsande said he will be now focusing on his Club Kaizer Chiefs.
