President Mnangagwa to cap 350 graduands

President Emmerson Mnangagwa will today preside over the 12th graduation ceremony at Harare Institute of Technology (HIT).

 

From there, the President will lay the stone for the Multi-Laboratory Research Plaza at the same Institute, before launching the National Fuel Management System at Trek, Pomona.

 

 

HIT has five schools that offer 16 ZIMCHE approved undergraduate degree programs that respond to the Science, Engineering and Technology Agenda.

 

On its twitter handle the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services said, “Today 350 graduands will be presented for capping by his Excellency. These comprise 211 male and 139 female graduands.”

 

Of the 350 graduands being capped today, 10 are graduating with First Class degrees while 2 will receive the Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa Chancellor’s Award for the Overall Best Graduating student which comes with a US $1000 prize.
