President Mnangagwa has arrived in Bulawayo ahead of today’s official opening of the 62nd edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
This year’s Fair is running under the theme “Rethink, Reimagine, Reinvent value chains for economic development. ”
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was part of the initial program as guest of honour, will not be able to officially open the 62nd edition of ZITF following the death of his country’s former Head of State, Mwai Kibaki.
As a result President Mnangagwa will officially open the trade fair
“This is the biggest exhibition that ZITF @zitf1 has achieved. It is a result of the Second Republic’s policy of Engagement & Reengagement. After 20 years, countries like Great Britain are exhibiting. More than 75% of products on our shelves are now produced locally,” said President Mnangagwa.
