Parliamentarians to be sworn tomorrow.

Members of Parliament elected in the plebiscite of the 23rd of August will be sworn in tomorrow at Parliament Building in the Capital.
This was said in an Extraordinary Government Gazette by Clerk of Parliament Kennedy M. Chokuda in General Notice 1406A of 2023.
The taking of th Oath of Member of Parliament is in terms of the Provisions of Section 128(1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
Members of Parliament shall be sworn in at ten o’clock in the morning while Members of the Senate shall be sworn in at half past two in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Parliament of Zimbabwe has said that no party regalia is allowed in the Parliament Building and the precincts at all times. Any MP wearing party regalia will not be allowed in either the building or it’s precincts.
The swearing in shall be aired on both traditional and digital media.
