Veteran utility player Joel Ngodzo has left Highlanders, the club has confirmed.
In a statement, Highlanders said they parted ways with the player on amicable terms.
“The club can confirm that it has parted ways with Joel “Josta” Ngodzo on mutual terms. We are grateful for the contributions he made towards the club during his stay at Bosso. We wish him well in his new endeavors,” Bosso said in a statement.
It is believed that Ngodzo is headed to CAPS United, a club famed for accommodating ageing players.
It would not be the first time for Ngodzo to appear in Caps United colours, in 2019, Ngodzo left Highlanders to join CAPS United and was awarded Castle Lager Soccer Star of the Year in 2019.
Before his latest return to Bosso, which did not yield much, Ngodzo has a short stint in Zambia but could not be registered because of an international clearance challenge.
Sources in the Highlanders camp say Ngodzo told Brito, the new coach, that he was Jose Mourinho`s water career, resulting in an irredeemable fallout between the two.
