Attention seeking opposition leader Jacob Ngarivhume has tested positive for Covid-19.
Ngarivhume, who publicised his relentless flouting of Covid-19 regulations moving from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, posing for pictures at rubbish dumps is among those who have tested positive of the disease in the third wave.
The failed Bikita politician who believes he is an anti-corruption crusader has been spotted in numerous highly populated spots like Mbare, Mbudzi roundabout and Chitungwiza.
His main business there, taking videos of himself complaining of how local authorities had left the places to be run down and littered, something which cannot be described as an essential service under any circumstances.
Ngarivhume told his followers on Twitter, that he is battling Covid-19 symptoms.
The tweet reads, “I’m currently down with Covid-19 and won’t be able to make my visit to the CID or @ZACConline. It is another sobering reminder that we need to continue fighting corruption to improve our health services.”
Although it is not clear at this point where he contracted the virus it is no secret that he was a very mobile character who was going against the wisdom of health authorities at every turn.
