New 100 dollar note on the way

Zimbabwe is set to introduce the highest local currency banknote soon.
The country, which reintroduced its currency in 2019 after a 10 year absence is responding to market changes which have made larger notes a necessity.
The RBZ announced the imminent move through Statutory Instrument 68A of 2022.
“The Minister of Finance and Economic Development has hereby, in terms of section 40(3) of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 22:15], made the following notice specifying the matters determined by the President in terms of subsection (2) of that section;There shall be issued, in terms of the Act, a hundred dollar banknote,” the SI read.
The one hundred dollar banknote shall have the dominant feature which is the three balancing rocks, the logo of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on its front.
There will be a visually impaired recognition feature to the left, latent image showing the denomination, windowed security strip inscribed “RBZ” with colour shift from red to green, watermark with highlighted inscription “RBZ” and see-through of Zimbabwe Bird looking to the left in perfect register, as secondary features.
It shall also have an impression of Great Zimbabwe Monument and the Baobab Tree, gold coloured iridescent band showing the denomination of the note and see-through of the Zimbabwe Bird looking to the right on its back.
The bank note shall have a basic brown and made from cotton paper as has become the standard of all notes released by the RBZ.
