Mbudzi Interchange Renamed Trabablas Interchange

Mbudzi Interchange has been renamed Trabablas Interchange, in honour of President Mnangagwa and his work towards the country’s development. This was announced yesterday during the last post cabinet briefing of the year 2024.

In a post cabinet press briefing this Tuesday, the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Hon Dr Jenfan Muswere announced that in recognition of the visionary leadership of His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, “the nation is being advised that upon completion the “Mbudzi Interchange ” will be renamed “Trabablas Inter-change.”

Previously, the intersection was managed by a round about , but increasing traffic volumes caused congestion as drivers faced challenges to drive past the traffic circle.

In response, government initiated plans for the swift upgrade which is expected to be completed soon.

In addition, Cabinet received and approved the renaming of Headquarters Bulawayo District and Zimbabwe School of Infantry Army Barracks.

“Accordingly, Headquarters 1 now retains the name Khumalo Barrack. Headquarters Bulawayo District retains the name Imbizo Barracks, and the Zimbabwe School of Infantry be renamed Lookout Masuku Barracks,” said Minister Muswere.
