Mangwana matriarch dies.

The mother of Politburo Member and ZANU PF Secretary for Legal Affairs, Cde Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana, Permanent Secretary of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana, Mbuya VaCharumbira as she was affectionately known has passed on.
The announcement was made by Mr. Mangwana on his Facebook page in a sombre message in which he wrote, “Zuva Radoka. Mwene weruva watanha.” The post was accompanied by a picture of Mr. Mangwana, his mother and an aunt. He followed up the post with another one which said, “The legend rests with the angels. I am because she was.”
Mbuya Mangwana is grandmother to Central Committee member Cde Shingirai Raymond Mangwana among other grandchildren and great grandchildren who survive her.
The Mangwana matriarch passed on in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Chivi, the Mangwana rural home but the funeral is being held in Kwekwe with burial set for Sunday in Muzvezve in a private ceremony.
