Out of sorts G40 functionaries, Sarah Mahoke and Walter Chidhakwa are among hundreds set to lose residential stands in Karoi`s Kubatana suburb.

Mahoka, was until 2017, the Hurungwe East Member of Parliament and ZANU PF Women`s League Secretary for Finance, while Chidhakwa is a former Minister of Mines and Mining Development.

The duo and hundreds others have failed to develop the land apportioned to them in the new low density suburb.

Mahoka was given stand number 6705, while Chidhakwa had secured stand number 6993, however, for reasons best known to them, they have not done as much as weed the spaces.

In a notice Dr Wellington Mutikani, the Karoi Town Secretary said they have intention to repossess the stands.

This means that the land is likely to be sold again to more serious individuals.

During their days, G40 members had a penchant for primitive accumulation of wealth, in which they would bulldoze themselves into housing lists, despite already owning multiple properties, prejudicing first time home seekers.

Some are now struggling to put the land they greedily acquired to good use, as they did not have any meaningful sources of income outside politics.
