Zimbabwean prophet Walter Magaya has paid homage to late Nigerian televangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua, who died on Saturday at the age of 57.
Joshua, who led a religious outfit known as the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), commanded an international following and many prophets, including Magaya, saw them as their spiritual father.
During a virtual service with his PHD Ministries, Magaya reflected on his relationship with Joshua, saying he learnt a lot from the man.
In a statement released afterwards, Magaya said, “Our life is like a book. There are different chapters that we have to go through, this one has a name. PAIN OF LIFE. As much as he is in Heaven, I still wanted him here. Love you Father Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua. Who will father me now? Who will pay the school fees of my children?
You started Yadah Tv for me and always did guide me. Who will call me at 2am and say correct this and that?…”
The Controversial Prophet founded his own ministry following a visit to Nigeria and what he describes as a life-changing encounter with Joshua.
As the story goes, says he was anointed by the late Nigerian prophet who blessed him with the God-given mandate of starting his own church back home and winning souls.
