Comedienne and social media personality Madam Boss has won the 2021 E! People`s Choice Awards.
She was nominated against top African names which include Lasizwe Dambuza (South Africa), Boity Thulo(South Africa), Mihlali Ndamase (South Africa), Azziad Nasenya (Kenya), Witney Ramabulana (South Africa), The Oddity (Nigeria) and Falz (Nigeria).
Madam Boss announced her win through Instagram.
“I’m just a girl from Madziva. We did it . Thank you Madam Boss fans for voting for me, wow I can’t believe this.
Mum dearest wake up. Thank @eonlineafrica this is big for me and my fans. Zimbabwe we did it. Don’t miss the 2021 People’s Choice Awards 7 December on DSTV channel 124,” she said.
Madam Boss is the first Zimbabwean to be nominated for the award since the category was created three years ago.
The event will be broadcast on December 7 at 2am on E!
