Madam Boss in continental breakthrough

Zimbabwe’s socialite and comedienne Madam Boss has landed a big acting role in a Nollywood series “The Offspring”.
Madam boss (real name Tyra Chikocho) is currently in Nigeria for the production of the Nollywood series.

The enterprising actress has been chronicling her journey to Nollywood on her Facebook and Instagram page, through a series of posts that started on March 25, when she left Zimbabwe for Nigeria.

She said she will be acting alongside Nollywood greats, Prince Jide Kosoko and Ayo Adesanya.

Through her social media she said,” This is it! Tarisai Cleopatra Chikocho from Zimbabwe to Nollywood. Hakusi kugona kwangu asi ruoko rwenyu Mwari…Is that you acting in the same movie with these Nollywood Legends…Thank you @drhenry for this life-changing journey you are truly a man of God.”

The versatile artist also announced that she recently landed a role in a South Africa Sitcom as well alongside Comedian Madlela Skhobokhobo (real name Mothusi Bashimane Ndlovu).

“There’s something that we’re cooking and soon, we’ll talk about it in depth.” Madam boss said.

“Currently I’m in Nigeria where I was called to feature in a Nigerian series, The Offspring. I will be portraying a role of a Zimbabwean woman who owns a restaurant in Nigeria, and a lot will be happening at that restaurant. Expect nothing but fireworks,” she said.

Madam Boss rose to stardom after releasing various comic skits which attracted a huge following on social media.
She has one of the biggest individual social media accounts in the country.
