Former Warriors winger Joel Lupahla has left his role as Division One side Golden Eagles first team coach.

Lupahla, an experienced Division One coach, joined Golden Eagles in January 2020 and leaves them in third place in the Northern Region Division One.

In a statement, Golden Eagles said they parted ways with mutual consent.

“After discussions on Sunday, it was untimely decided that we would go our separate ways,” Golden Eagles Chairman Barry Manandi said.

Lupahla leaves with his assistants Elliot Matsika and Warren Mapanga.

The club announced Gilbert Mushangazhike as the new coach deputized by Phillip Sithole.
