Two Warriors players Bothulezwe Ncube and Knox Mutizwa tested positive for Covid-19 before departure from their bases in South Africa.
The two players were called in as replacements for those who failed to travel for national duty, due to travel constraints.
Coach Zdravco Logarusic had named Knox Mutizwa as a direct replacement for injured Tanzania based striker Prince Dube.
As it stands the coach has been left with only two forwards Tinotenda Kadewere and Terrence Dzvukamanja. Captain Knowledge Musona who with age has been turned into an attacking midfielder may be called to play a striking role tomorrow.
The Warriors are hosting South Africa tomorrow at the National Sports Stadium, before travelling to Ethiopia for a second Group G World Cup qualifier.
Many England based Warriors players dropped out of the team after their teams refused to grant them permission to travel as Zimbabwe is on Covid-19 red list.
Players affected by the move are Aston villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba, Wigan captain Tendai Darikwa,Brendan Galloway and MLS based defender Teenage Hadebe.
