President Mnangagwa meets Victorious National High School Moot Team
President Mnangagwa today met with the Zimbabwe National High School moot team, which made history after being crowned as world champions at the 2022 International Moot Court competitions held recently in the Netherlands.
Consisting of nine girls and two boys, selected from different schools across the country, the team defeated 15 other teams to be crowned world champions.
The Zimbabwe team was the only African team at the competitions and was participating in the competitions for the first time.
President Mnangagwa handed the Zimbabwe National High School Moot Team US$30 000 to fund their next competition in Romania.
The team is set to represent the country at the Moot Court Europe competition in Romania.
Addressing the team, President Mnangagwa said Government is determined to create an enabling environment for students and youth to thrive, pursue their dreams and earn a decent living.
