Ex-Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs midfield maestro Willard Katsande has tipped his hat to Kaizer Chiefs Management and fans for supporting him during his ten year stay at Naturena.

The former Gunners star is among seven players released by the Amakhosi this season and is being linked to a move to Amazulu Fc.

Affectionately known as the Salt and Vinegar by Amakhosi fans, the 35 year old said he cherishes the opportunity he was given by the club.

Writing on his Twitter, earlier this week, Katsande said;
“I trust that I represented the Badge and Brand with the respect and dignity that it deserves.
I am blessed beyond imagination having represented my childhood dream Club for over 320 games. Lifted four trophies and participated in the Champions league. Kaizer Chiefs is my family and will always be in my heart.”

Another Zimbabwean player at the club Khama Billiat saw his contract extended by another two years.

Katsande came from Gunners Fc in Zimbabwe and joined Ajax Cape Town before being snatched by the Chiefs in 2011.

Many Zimbabwean players have played for the Amakhosi side these include Tinashe Nengomasha, Robson Muchichwa, Thomas Svesve and Knowledge Musona.
