IN BRIEF: Bona Mugabe divorces

Bona Nyapudzai Ouma Mugabe, daughter to the late former President Robert Mugabe is divorcing her husband Simbarashe Mutsahuni Chikore citing irretrievable differences.
Lawyers representing the former first daughter filed divorce summons at the High Court in Harare on Tuesday morning seeking an order for a divorce decree.
Court papers gleaned by this publication reveal that the parties have lost all love and affection for each other and have been living separate lives for the past nine months. Ms Mugabe blames it all on Mr Chikore who’s activities outside the marriage contributes to the reasons for the break down of the marriage.
The couple tied the knot on March 1, 2014 at a lavish wedding ceremony in Harare, drawing a number of sitting African leaders to the ceremony.
Mugabe is seeking full custody of their three minor children aged seven, five, and two arguing that it was in their best interest, with Chikore accorded access to them every alternate weekend.
