The Zimbabwe Republic Police, Department of Immigration and The National Gaming Board have lined up developmental projects set to benefit their members of staff and the communities at large.
This was revealed at this week`s post-Cabinet media briefing by Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Senator Monica Mutsvangwa.
Min Mutsvangwa said the, The Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Hon Kazembe Kazembe told cabinet that ZRP will construct one block of residential flats
The Department of Immigration and Control will construct two bachelor flats at Kazungula Border Post. The following works have been completed: site clearing and trenching; steel fixing; and substructure brick is also complete.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will also complete construction of the Guruve District Registry Building. The contractor is now on site and works have commenced.
The Old Bulawayo National Monument will be constructed to 60 percent. Already the access road to the monument was graded and is now passable.
The Ministry will also complete 100 percent of Zvishavane community Archives.
The preliminary survey is 100 percent complete and archival processing is at 60 percent.
The Lotteries and Gaming Board seeks to complete 100 percent construction of Pupu Clinic in Matebeleland North Province.
The slab has been completed and currently working on brick work to roof level.
These projects are all part of the Ministry’s 100-day cycle projects.
