Government gazettes new passport fees

Government of Zimbabwe today gazzetted the official fees for attaining a travelling document.

The notice, carried in the Government Gazette says the payments can either be in foreign currency or local currency at the interbank equivalent.

“Minister of Home Affairs and National Heritage, Hon Kazembe Kazembe has, in terms of section 22 of the Citizenship of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 4:01] made the following regulations.

These regulations may be cited as the Citizenship Act (Passport Fees) Regulations, 2021.
Hon Kazembe has fixed passport fees as specified herein,” read the notice.

The fees are now as follows:

(a) ordinary passport fee is USD$60,00

(b) three-day passport fee is USD$200,00

(c) Emergency 24hr passport fee is USD$318,00
