End of road for fugitive Pius Jamba

Pius Jamba, the chief suspect in the Moreblessing Ali murder case has been found.
Jamba who was still at large after the disappearance and death of his ex-girlfriend Ali was arrested this morning by Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP).
He was arrested in Chidamoyo area, Magunje, 255 kilometres away from Nyatsime area where he was last seen with the late Moreblessing Jamba.
Police have linked Jamba Ali`s murder.
“Initial investigations have established that Pius Jamba killed Moreblessing Ali after dragging her from Chibhanguza Shopping Centre, hid her in a bush and went to his parents homestead. He took a kitchen knife and went back to the bush.
The suspect then cut the body of Moreblessing Ali into pieces and made several trips to the well he eventually dumped the body,” the police statement said.
Investigations are underway to find out if Pius Jamba acted alone or in connivance with other suspects.
Police investigations have so far ruled out any political link to this sad and heinous crime.
Pius Jamba will be appearing in court soon,” read the statement by Police.
