ZANU-PF Second Secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi commissioned the North-West Medical Centre in Masvingo, Runyararo West yesterday.
The clinic was built by Masvingo City Council using Devolution Funds.
Runyararo West, Vic Range and Mucheke D suburb residents have been relieved of having to travel more than 7km to access the nearest Mazorodze clinic
The clinic was launched at an event which combined with the National Clean Up Day.
Cde Mohadi said the Second Republic had set in its NDS1 blueprint that all Zimbabweans should be able to access health facilities within a 3km radius.
“I am also informed that the City Council has also used funds from their coffers to assist in the building of the clinic. It is pleasing to know that they have taken heed of the President’s Mantra Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo,” said Cde Mohadi.
He also mentioned that this was one of the 107 Devolution Fund financed projects to assist the public
Apart from the Clinic, Masvingo City has managed to build Rujeko High School.
