HARARE – Soccer giants – Dynamos FC choked the Sheasham Boys four goals to nil at the National Sports Stadium yesterday.

The team’s play was a show of brilliance.

There were also two own goals by Sheasham defender Zivanai Chikwenhere as well as strikes by captain Frank Makarati and Emmanuel Paga.

The positive result propelled the giants to the top of the table, on goal difference.

DeMbare Coach Herbert “Jompano” Maruwa said his players implemented their game plan according to the book.

“We just executed our game plan well. Our opponents congested the midfield and once we realised they were doing so, we decided to bypass the midfield.

“We pressed them at the back and they started making a lot of mistakes.

“We then capitalised on that,” said Maruwa.

The Glamour Boys started brighter, retaining possession in their half as they tolerantly tried to create gaps in enemy territory.

Sheasham Coach John Nyikadzino was left a disappointed man.

His team has a single point to their name after two matches having picked that point in a goalless draw with Chicken in their opening match last week.

Meanwhile, Hwange recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Yadah at Baobab Stadium in Mhondoro Ngezi yesterday.
