Delta beverages have renewed their sponsorship deal with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for three seasons (2021-2023)at a value of USD 1.1 million.
The deal succeeds the current one which was penned in 2017 for three years.
Delta promised football fans an exciting Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season with various activities lined up to restart the game despite Covid-19 Challenges.
“We will inspire and encourage soccer fans to watch and support their favourite local teams in their thousands on local television stations and online. The total sponsorship package for each season will be USD1,130,000 payable in ZW$ at the bank rate of the day split as follows: Castle Premier Soccer League – USD700, 000, Castle Challenge Cup – USD55,000 and Chibuku Super Cup – USD375,000,” reads their statement .
PSL returns after more than a year on hold due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The league will kick off in July.
