President Mnangagwa says Zanu Pf is committed to ensure that no one is left behind in the country’s development agenda.
Addressing yesterday’s ordinary Politburo Session, President Mnangagwa said the gains earned through hosting Independence Celebrations in Bulawayo should be consolidated.
President Mnangagwa said;
“Let’s continue on the course of love and unity. The decentralisation of other events will connect people to broader national programs and help the youth in political awareness and patriotism,” said President Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa called on the Politburo to lead by example in putting up a united front.
“As Politburo members lets remain united. Narrow and self defeating agendas should be rejected by us and among the rank and file,” said President Mnangagwa.
The President gave an update on the ongoing documentation blitz.
“Our National Vision for our beloved motherland Zimbabwe, as well as the policies and the development strides we have realised to date, must be explained to our people in both rural and urban areas,” President Mnangagwa said.
He continued;, “Our quest to modernise, industrialise and grow our economy as envisages in the 2018 People’s Election Manifesto remains a priority for both the Party and Government. I call upon the Politburo to keep our membership updated and focused on increased production and productivity across all sectors. The development mantra “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo” should equally help usher our people into prosperity and a higher quality of life.”
Meanwhile, the Central Committee meeting will be held on Friday 22 April 2022.
