The China International Press Communication Centre (CIPCC) 2024 Program commenced today in Beijing, China.
Lei Yu, the CIPCC Director, addressed participants, stating that the four-month program is designed to enhance media collaboration between China and the developing world.
The program has attracted 94 journalists from 84 countries, including 24 from Africa, who are participating under the China Africa Press Centre 2024 Program.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of China and contribute to sharing China’s story globally.
Throughout the program, the CIPCC will offer lectures on China’s socio-economic development, diplomacy, culture, science, and technology. Additionally, participants will receive journalism training and participate in internships with Chinese media outlets, among other activities.
