MDC-Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa is part of those doing the bidding for Western vaccines like Astra Zeneca and Moderna, by trying to discredit Chinese-made vaccines.

Zimbabwe has been giving its citizens Sinopharm and SinoVac vaccines, currently being rated as the best in all aspects.

This prospect has given the West and their mandarins sleepless nights they now opt to go against science to maintain a warped sinophobic agenda.

MDC-A today in a four-tweet thread summarizing what they termed Chamisa’s Alternative Covid-19 Response Address they showed that Chamisa is part of the team which includes a certain daily newspaper, online characters, and politicians, who are trying to sway discourse towards vaccine made in Europe while discrediting those from our all-weather friend, China.

“MDC-A president Chamisa has not been invited to the event in Victoria Falls,” read the tweet by MDC-A.

Chamisa in his Alternative Response to COVID-19 address tried to explain that he wasn’t against the vaccination but had doubts about the methods only.

Using student union verbosity, Chamisa said
“We’ve highlighted time and again, we support the rollout of a widespread vaccination drive in the fight against COVID-19.
However we have reservations around the efficacy and safety of the vaccines that have been rolled out thus far,” he added.

This is despite the fact that Sinopharm and SinoVac, the two vaccines being dispensed in Zimbabwe currently rank as the safest in the world.
Zimbabwe has inoculated over 40 000 of its citizens but not even a single adverse reaction has been recorded.

In his usual copy and paste style, Chamisa’s address ended up sounding like a repeat of the already in place National Vaccination Programme.

“Our position is that any vaccination drive must prioritize health workers and the vulnerable before accessed by politicians in the interests of public health and putting that we are called to serve first,” he said.

This is similar to the Phase 1 blueprint for National Vaccination Programme published by Ministry of Health and Child Care back in February 2021.

Chamisa, his party spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere and a group of imperial scarecrows have been trying to poke holes into the progress made by the Government in vaccinating people.

They are struggling to come to terms with how well Zimbabwe has handled the pandemic from its onset.

Some have since given in to scientific wisdom and have queued for their own vaccine.
Political activist and part-time cameraman, Hopewell Chin’ono who also, up until his inoculation at Wilkins Hospital March 17, 2021 had been very adamant about blaming Government for choosing the Chinese Sinopharm Vaccine instead of Pfizer or other Western Vaccines.

The misinformed should see from this that the vaccination exercise is being opposed by hypocrites who will hop at their first chance to get a jab.
