CCC starts politial journey with a lie

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has refuted claims by Nelson Chamisa aligned activists that they were arrested for wearing yellow last Friday.
Following a flopped attempt to stage a silent demonstration, in which they asked people to wear yellow, newly formed CCC reverted to tactics they used as MDC Alliance – lies.
Speaking to Tateguru.TV Zimbabwe Republic Police National Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, said its unfortunate that after being charged with civic nuisance the activists saw it fit to misrepressnt facts behind their arrest.
“A total of 20 people had blocked the pavements in town causing disorder and chaos in the CBD.
The police pursued 12 of them and managed to arrest 6 while the other 6 ran away,” said Ass Comm Nyathi.
They were charged with criminal nuisance and paid ZWL $2 000 fine each.
“The statements that people are being arrested for wearing yellow tshirts or selling bananas is untrue,” said Ass Comm Nyathi.
