Today Cabinet will not hold its routine Tuesday meetings, as the President is away on international commitments.
President Mnangagwa and some members of Cabinet are in Rwanda for the Presidential summit Session of the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF).
Acting Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya confirmed the development yesterday.
“All members of the Cabinet are advised that there is no Cabinet sitting.
The rescheduled Cabinet meeting will take place on Tuesday next week,13th September 2022 at the usual venue and time. The rescheduling owes to His Excellency the President, DR E.D Mnangagwa’s visit to Kigali, Rwanda for the Presidential summit Session of the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) running from 6th to 7th September 2022,” said Dr Rushwaya.
The AGRF is the world’s premier forum for African agriculture, bringing together stakeholders in the agricultural landscape to take practical actions and share lessons that will move African agriculture forward.
AGRF will host its 12th annual summit under the theme Grow, Nourish, Reward – Bold Actions for Resilient Food Systems
