Australian Ambassador presents credentials

Incoming Australian Ambassador, Ms Minoli Tehani Perera, presented her credentials to President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House on Wednesday.
She assumes the position equivalent to an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and takes over from Ms Bronte Moules.
Ms Bronte Moules is a career officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade whose term of service ended in December last year.
Ambassador Perera holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University, Melbourne obtained in 1993 and started her career in Tel Aviv as a Second Secretary at the Australian Embassy in Israel.
She is a senior career officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was Chief Security Officer before her posting to Zimbabwe.
She has previously served overseas as Minister and Consular in different countries across the world.
