Another CCC fake assault jaunt exposed by the internet

It was the branded sheets and pillow case that exposed the CCC’s latest theatrical performance to be staged and fake.
Sometime between Saturday and Sunday a video footage of alleged CCC members being interrogated and assaulted by unknown assailants masquerading as ZANUPF members was circulated. The video has so far ignited debate on social media with some questioning the reasoning behind such a horrendous act.
The plot of the performance was scripted to open scene with a group of elderly CCC supporters in the Rural setting of Murehwa area having been ambushed by ZANUPF supporters mid meeting.
After short interrogations the convener of the said meeting would be assaulted for calling a meeting for an opposition party.
It would have sailed through, if only they had not gone further to add too much spices and hyperbole. The first give away was the desperate effort to make facts tie in, nothing natural happens like that.
The video was taken by a female whose voice exuded authority as she asked the names, ages and wards of origin the elderly CCC supporters were from. These details were needed to tie in the video and a picture of an alleged 75 year old man who was admitted and on Oxygen support, from a beating.
The second give away was the electric response time of media platforms like ZimLive and ZimEye to pick up on the story and use the picture of the hospitalised man as context, thereby making the Picture cannon to the continuum of the event.
It was midday Sunday that certain eyes keen on detail had deduced that this year’s staged allegation had pot holes.
Of peculiar interest about the picture of the hospitalised old man was that he seemed to have lost more weight than the people in the video. As if he was in intensive care unit, seeing he was on oxygen support too. Where in Murehwa is there an Intensive care unit?
The other give away was the branded hospital bed sheets and pillow which had the distinctive letters HBA printed on them. After doing a search of an HBA hospital or private clinic in Murehwa or Harare, it showed no results. A wider search brought results from India and Kenya.
People took to social Media calling out the failed attempt to smear ZANUPF with only six months shy of the harmonised elections.
It would seem the Opposition is already trying to make excuses for losing before the actual elections take place. Another tale of a tired script for the opposition.
