All Set For The 2024 National Youth Day Celebrations

All roads lead to Mushagashe Youth Vocational Training Centre for the National Youth Day Celebrations that will be held in Masvingo Province on Wednesday 21 February.
This year’s National Youth Day Celebrations will be held under the theme “Positioning Youth Empowerment and Development towards Achieving Vision 2030.”
His Excellency Cde. Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, will be the Guest of Honor. Foreign delegates from South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Tanzania are also expected to grace the occasion.
Speaking at the post cabinet briefing this Tuesday, Minister of Information and Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Honourable Jenfan Muswere has noted that all is set for the day.
“Preparations for the event are well on course, with adequate logistical arrangements for the mobilisation and transportation of the youths having been finalised, ” said Hon. Dr. Muswere.
Annually, this day is celebrated inorder to recognize youths, reflect on their contributions to the country’s development and encourage them to adopt good leadership values through emulating those who fought for Zimbabwe.
“The event also provides young people with opportunities, responsibility and sustainability of initiatives, while ensuring that we leave no place and no one behind, ” added Hon. Dr. Muswere.
However, the 2024 objectives are to celebrate the National Youth Day, to identify and unlock socio-economic potential of youths through building the capacity of young people.
The event will host Economic Dialogue, during which a youth representative will make a presentation on issues affecting youths.
“The Economic Dialogue will bring together about 30 000 youths from all provinces of the country,” added Hon Dr Muswere
